Ormonde Jayne Woman

>This scent, from London perfumer Linda Pilkington, has me completely enamored. I ordered it unsniffed based off the famous black hemlock note- not knowing what black hemlock smelled like, I had to find out- and was completely bowled over by this very un-traditional fragrance.
OJ Woman is feminine, but not in a simpering, deferential, male-dominated sense. OJ Woman is the scent of a female who is unafraid of her own power, who still knows how to accept her own vulnerabilities. It is sensual, sultry, spicy, splendid. It starts unassumingly enough, with a warm green note- grass oil, coriander, cardamom- then switches gears and allows the bewitching floral scent of violets and jasmine to shine, beautifully grounded through the herbaceous black hemlock note. Amber, cedar wood, sandalwood, and vetiver ensure that it stays warm through the drydown, serving as the perfect backdrop for the delicate interplay between sweet and spicy.
OJ is probably the most complex scent is my collection, with its air of smooth, moss-green velvet. There is not an iota of coolness or fruit in this fragrance. In one word, it is hypnotic. Rich, lush, goddess-worthy. It is Scarlett O’Hara wearing her mother’s dark green portieres, it is Kali Ma the Preserver, dripping with gold ornaments, it is bare feet dancing on freshly turned earth, the enchanting sounds of Middle Eastern music, the taste of saffron, the perfect ecstasy of love-tinged lust, and fortunately, it is also me, because I would weep if this scent didn’t work with my chemistry. Thankfully, it could not be a better match if it were crafted for me personally.

This sounds AMAZING!
